I decided to run for Congress because I know we need leaders in Washington who will focus on the issues that matter most to my district and my constituents. Our district is going in the wrong direction. We're #2 in crime in the state. Unemployment is at 17% amongst minorities in my district. And we are losing our future with a staggering high school drop-out rate of almost 61%.
I want to continue my service to our community and country and put my experience as a physician, military officer, father, and husband to work for the people of Florida's 24th Congressional District. I want to help build a stronger America and create more opportunities for us all.
